Boil Water Notice for Swift WSC

 NOTICE IS FOR ADDRESSES 2548 FM 2112 – 5045 FM 2112, CR 234, CR 235, CR 233 AND CR 2061 

October 20, 2026 

Due to service interruption where the main line broke at 4187 FM 2112, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Swift WSC to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions). To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes. Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice. Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.  Aviso de hervir el agua para Swift WSC EL AVISO ES PARA LAS DIRECCIONES 2548 FM 2112 – 5045 FM 2112, CR 234, CR 235, CR 233 Y CR 2061 20 de octubre de 2026 Debido a una interrupción del servicio causada por la rotura de la línea principal en 4187 FM 2112, la Comisión de Calidad Ambiental de Texas ha exigido a Swift WSC que notifique a todos los clientes que deben hervir el agua antes de consumirla (por ejemplo, para lavarse las manos/la cara, cepillarse los dientes, beber, etc). Los niños, las personas mayores y las personas con sistemas inmunitarios debilitados son particularmente vulnerables a las bacterias dañinas, y todos los clientes deben seguir estas instrucciones). Para garantizar la destrucción de todas las bacterias dañinas y otros microbios, el agua destinada a beber, cocinar y hacer hielo debe hervirse y enfriarse antes de utilizarse como agua potable o para consumo humano. El agua debe llevarse a un hervor vigoroso y mantenerse hirviendo durante dos minutos.
